In just under a week, sports betting online fans will be glued to their television sets as the NBA playoffs will commence. This year's NBA sports betting playoffs are wide open, as any of the potential 16 teams set to qualify, can win the tournament. Here is our prediction for which teams will be left standing in June to battle it out for the NBA title.

This season's NBA final will see the new look Chicago Bulls led by Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer, battle fourth consecutive year finalists the Los Angeles Lakers led by Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. In our minds, this series will signal a changing of the guard, as the youthful Bulls should be able to defeat the veteran Lakers in six games to win the franchise's first title since 1998.

The NBA playoffs tournament is literally a way to allow the experts to determine which player is the all around best in the league. During the regular season, many people have said that they believe that the best player on the best team deserves the MVP award. However, is that the best player on the NBA Championship team or best player on the regular season top team?

On the one hand, we feel that the regular season is just a warm up for the playoffs, yet on the other hand, we feel the playoffs can be misleading. For the latter belief, you don't have to necessarily be the best team to win the NBA Championship, just have the best player.

Meaning to say, if it comes down to the Chicago Bulls v the LA Lakers, we will see the best player of the regular season Derrick Rose taking on the best player the NBA has ever offered, Kobe Bryant. In theory, the Bulls youth has allowed them to be one of the best teams during the regular season. However, playing the Lakers during the regular season and in the playoffs are two totally different things. We still think the Bulls will win, but it will be much harder than maybe it was during the regular season.
